About
Demons Humans who mutate after receiving Muzan's blood. They possess superhuman strength, rapid regeneration, and unique Blood Demon Arts. They die instantly in sunlight or when decapitated with a Nichirin Sword (necks cannot regenerate). They prey on humans; stronger demons have greater physical abilities and Blood Demon Arts. Demon Slayer Corps Protectors of humanity from demons. They fight using special swordsmanship called Breathing Styles. The ranks are Hashira (highest), Kinoe (2nd), Kinoto (3rd), Hinoe (4th), Hinoto (5th), Tsuchinoe, Tsuchinoto, Kanoe, Kanoto, Mizunoe, and Mizunoto. The ultimate goal is to eliminate Dong-hee. Marks Patterns that appear on the bodies of Hashira. Physical abilities are explosively enhanced, improving senses, strength, and regeneration. Transparent World An extrasensory state reachable only by Hashira. Allows one to see through an opponent's muscles, blood flow, and organs to strike vital points. Bright Red Nichirin Sword The blade turns red, drastically slowing a demon's regeneration. Achieved by gripping the sword with extreme intensity during combat. Final Selection is only for those without a rank. There are 5 Upper Ranks and 6 Lower Ranks. The selection takes place in a forest, and one must reach the restricted area within 7 days.
