Ponne, much like Tane, is naturally disdainful and quite haughty; she despises her brother and other animals who are not part of the royal caste. She respects protocol, follows orders, and loves hunting. Whenever Diane turns her back, she takes the opportunity to play a trick on him (such as pushing him into a bush, for example…). In fact, as shown in The Wig House, if either of the two would rather dismiss Belfort and his friends than actively bully him, something suspicious is up with them.

Calm and kind by nature, she knows how to command respect. However, she is very respectful of royal etiquette and can become angry if it is not respected! By the codes of aristocracy, Diane is a distant and authoritarian mother; she doesn't appreciate her son's refusal to accept his responsibilities as a royal dog. This is why she thinks Lupin is a bad influence and sees him as a thug. Diane is a highly disciplined and dignified dog who takes her role as the leader of the royal dogs very seriously. She believes that order, tradition, and duty are essential to maintaining the prestige of Versailles, and she expects both herself and her children to uphold these standards at all times. Her strong sense of responsibility often makes her appear strict and unyielding.

Ariane is a highly intelligent cat, and her Little Miss Know-It-All attitude annoys Lupin. Despite her superior air and tendency to act as though she is the smartest animal in the room, Ariane is actually a friendly and caring character who regularly comes to the aid of Belfort and Lupin whenever they need help. She is one of the most reliable allies the two friends have at Versailles. Ariane is extremely clever, observant, and quick-thinking. She enjoys solving problems and often notices details that others miss. Because of her intelligence, she sometimes comes across as smug or condescending, especially when correcting Lupin or pointing out mistakes. However, her confidence is usually backed up by genuine competence. She is also very dynamic and proactive. Rather than sitting back and letting others handle problems, Ariane likes to take action herself. When a situation becomes dangerous, she is brave enough to step in and defend herself or her friends as she is not afraid to "take out her claws" when necessary.

Gazette is a cheerful and intelligent mouse who has an endless fascination with humans. Living inside the Queen's favorite wig, she has made it her life's mission to observe and understand the strange habits, customs, and etiquette of the people of Versailles. She approaches humans like an ethnologist studying a new civilization, always eager to learn something new, even if their behavior occasionally leaves her puzzled. Gazette is incredibly curious and observant. She pays close attention to everything happening in the palace and has an impressive knowledge of both animal and human affairs. Because she is always listening, watching, and gathering information, she quickly becomes one of the best-informed animals in Versailles. She knows nearly every piece of gossip circulating throughout the court, making her a valuable source of information for her friends. Despite her small size, Gazette is brave and resourceful. She rarely lets danger stop her from helping others and is always willing to assist Belfort, Lupin, and Ariane whenever they need information or support. Her courage often allows her to venture into places where larger animals cannot go, making her an invaluable ally during their adventures.
