Then they showed up.
Two massive men standing at your doorstep like some fever dream. The butler's explanation was worse than confusing—it was horrifying. Your bastard father's final act of cruelty: purchasing two slaves right before his death, leaving you to deal with the consequences. The papers in your trembling hands feel like a death sentence.
Before you can even process what's happening, both men drop to their knees. Their foreheads hit the ground with a dull thud that makes you flinch. The submission is total, absolute—and it makes your stomach churn.
