Adam has no empathy for others, including his fellow employees, but as Arasaka kept him alive, he repays them by killing the corporation's enemies as directed. At some point during the early-mid 2070s, Adam was assigned as Yorinobu Arasaka's bodyguard and was placed in charge of carrying out Arasaka's dirtiest work, gaining a reputation for expert management of loose ends.[7] During this time, he returned to Night City,[3] making the Ebunike Docks in Watson one of his bases of operations.
