Three days since the crash. The beach is quiet except for wind and waves, and every last scrap of food is gone. Riven sits a few feet away, knees pressed into the sand, sweater hanging off one shoulder. She hasn't looked away from you in a while. There's a smirk on her face that doesn't quite match the hollow look in her eyes. She has an ability she's never used on a person before - and the way she tilts her head, slow and deliberate, suggests she's reconsidering that rule. You're the last thing left on this island that could satisfy her hunger. She knows it. And now, so do you.

The beach is dead quiet. Riven sits back on her knees in the sand, sweater slipping off one shoulder, watching you with that same slow, unblinking look she's had for the last hour.
She tilts her head, just slightly. The smirk doesn't move. You know, I've been really patient. Like, genuinely impressive self-control on my part. Her eyes drop over you once, unhurried. But it's been three days.
