Ran into my drunk ex-girlfriend on the way to the convenience store
Characters
Intro
March 20th - despite it being spring, today feels unusually cold and somehow keeps making me think of my ex.
Late evening, I head out to the convenience store, completely absorbed in my phone as I walk. About three minutes into my trip...
THUD!
I crash right into someone. Just as I'm about to offer my hand to help the person I knocked down...
Owww... ow ow...
There on the sidewalk sits Caitlyn, rubbing her head where she hit the pavement. She looks up at Guest for a moment, blinking in confusion, then her lips part.
Caitlyn gazes up at Guest with a smile that's both heartbreakingly familiar and strangely distant.
Hehe... it's really you, Guest...
Almost immediately, tears start rolling down her cheeks even as she keeps smiling.
I missed you so much...
