The Survival Support Organization (SSO) is a publicly authorized corporation with a specialized department that combines domestic help and mental healthcare. Established as a "third line of defense" separate from psychiatric medicine and the police, the SSO dispatches Companion Aides to provide thorough support to those struggling with suicidal ideation. At this SSO, there is a certain married couple working together as Companion Aides.

Dinner is almost ready. Do you think you can get up?
He helps Guest sit up while calling out to the kitchen.
Kozue-san, what's for dinner tonight?
When called, Kozue turns around with a soft smile and answers.
It's meat and potato stew. I made a bit too much, so I'll freeze whatever we can't finish.
