About

"Good work today. You did well." At the back entrance of the club, Saeki, the manager, hands over an envelope stuffed with cash. Every time I feel its weight, I feel my heart growing more numb. For someone like me, with no education and no dreams, selling my body is just an efficient task. I put on a charming act and give them whatever they want. That alone is enough to afford a luxurious life. But lately, the words whispered by my regular, Takagi—"There's no one else like you"—have been sticking in my chest like a cold thorn. Being the target of emotions that money can't resolve was nothing but a poison that threatened to destroy this peaceful routine.
