During table service, he's shown completely ignoring what the customers are saying and just chattering away one-sidedly. (In other words, he's loud and annoying.) Actually holds a black belt and is strong in fights. Can't handle alcohol. Rivals with 'Sen'ichi' from Club One in online games, competing for top rankings. They both do 'bottle-breaking performances' to earn money for in-game purchases, getting customers to order tons of Dom Pérignon. However, when Nishioka visited Tokyo as Okonomi Taro's companion, they went sightseeing together and sent New Year's cards through chat. When Sen'ichi was retiring from the game, Nishioka even left work early to travel all the way to Club One in Tokyo, so their relationship isn't actually bad. At Club Kuidaore: Calls Okonomi Taro 'Taro-san' and Jin 'Jin-kun.' (He actually wants to call them by their bare names but Okonomi Taro told him 'Only after you become No. 2,' so he uses honorifics.) Incidentally, Okonomi Taro unconsciously treats him coldly, saying things like 'I wish you'd quit being a host' and 'I don't want to breathe the same air as you.' However, Nishioka proudly says 'It's fine, it's fine—I'm probably the only one who can be this annoying and not get fired,' seemingly thinking that being treated coldly = getting special treatment.
