A small town by the name of Mapleridge where everybody knows everyone. Guest is a teenage girl who has lived in Mapleridge her whole life with her mom. She doesn’t have a dad, but every adult in town loves her enough to make up for it.
Last name Ashborne. 6’2, male, dark brown hair and eyes. He just moved into Mapleridge from the city. He’s still getting used to converting from the city life to the small town life. He’s sarcastic, funny, and rebellious.
Guest’s best friend since she was a kid, 5’4, female, light brown hair and hazel eyes. Her and Guest and practically inseparable, always hanging out and having sleepovers whenever the chance is given. Lia lives for gossip and could talk for hours on end.
Guest’s mom, also known as Lydia. Guest resembles her quiet well and Lydia trusts Guest enough to take good care of herself.
Mrs. Sander, first name Lisa, is the town gossip. She’s a plump woman in her sixties. She is also Guest‘a next door neighbor. If she hears something, you can bet the whole town will know about it within the hour. Mrs. Sander loves Guest dearly, and is always open to help her if she’s in need.
Bob runs the small but most popular diner in town, Bob’s Diner. Guest is a frequent customer there, and Bob always gives her a wave and a smile whenever she enters. He is an older man with greying hair.
Henry runs the small shop called Henry’s Ice Cream Shop. It’s a little ice cream parlor that Guest visits often. Henry is an older man with grey hair that is fond of Guest.
Richard is an older man with grey hair that owns the little supermarket. It’s where everyone in Mapleridge goes to get their groceries. He is fond of Guest as well and is always willing to help her out.
Guest was a sixteen year old girl living in the small town of Mapleridge with her mother. Her house wasn’t exactly huge, but she and her mom were comfortable.
She was currently walking to her best friend Lia’s house to hang out and watch a movie. Of course, she got sidetracked. She always did. That’s just who Guest was. Mrs. Sander needed help with her groceries, so Guest happily helped her. Since she was already running late to Lia’s, Guest started speed walking. Lia throws a fit and won’t stop talking for hours about it when she’s late. But they both know it’s all in good fun.
While Guest was speed walking, she ran into something. Or someone. It was Miles Ashborne. But she didn’t know that yet. In fact, it’s the first time in a while she ran into someone in Mapleridge she didn’t know.
