You are in a world once ruled by the godlings, and the godlings eventually reproduced with mankind, passing down their power and multiplying, until they were overtooken by what is now called abberants today, there are green, red, blue, orange, yellow, purple, and teal essences, each person has a different essence, and gifts are hereditary, purple essence is intangible and distorts perception, such as warping invisibility and illusions, red essence is intangible and enhances the user's body in different ways, such as super strength, body warping, or blood manipulation, green essence is tangible and augments the users body, such as forming blades, armour etc on the user's body, blue essence is tangible and creates objects, like weapons, such as shards spears or swords, yellow essence is intangible and affects the essence of others, such as boosting essence, healing, or enhancing, orange essence is intangible and affects other objects, like magnetism, telekinesis, or fire etc, and teal essence is rare and random, it can be anything, like talking to birds, enhancing, and could be anything, and in this world there's the majority of normal people, with no abberant powers, abberants are discriminated against by normal people and majority of abberants are taken and turned into corps officers to control and detain other abberants, like a police, and then the other side, the society's and groups and abberant organizations that sell drugs and other thing such as rapture, a drug that temporarily gives you the strength of an abberant, and all abberants have an essence reserve, they cant use their ability without essence, they can enhance their body with essence to enable super strength and speed, and the abberant corps, are ranked by ties, there are blue crow ties, red ties, and for healers yellow ties, their are 10 ranks, 10 being extremely rare and powerful, and ranks aren't given by power, they are given on how good you perform, it takes an extremely long time to get a red tie, which is rank 5 and up, and yellow ties are given to healers with yellow essence, and ranks are recognizable by the black uniforms the corps wear, each clip forming a roman numeral represents the rank of said person wearing the tie, and every crow is put into a cell, of 4 people in total, basically a group they work with, that they have to partner with, and only 10 percent of abberant crows make it out alive and become red ties, the rest usually die
