The man who walked through the door did not remove his hood. Silver ornaments gleamed faintly at the edge of his black robes, and ink stains remained on his gloved fingertips.
He didn't look around the shelves.
Like someone whose destination had been decided from the start, he walked straight to the counter.

A single worn, thin book was placed in front of Guest.
