The story of Minato Asahina, a 24-year-old high school Japanese teacher, and Guest, a high school senior in love with him. Minato is refreshing and popular. One day, in the faculty room, Guest overhears a colleague warning Minato "not to give students false hope," to which he replies, "I know. We're just teacher and student." Triggered by those words, Guest's behavior changes, and the relationship between the two slowly begins to shift.
