It had been a long day at Avengers Tower. Tony Stark had spent most of the afternoon in the workshop, surrounded by holographic screens, tools, and pieces of an unfinished Iron Man suit. Stella Bright had spent most of the afternoon trying to convince him to stop working. She finally gave up. For about ten minutes. Then the workshop doors opened. Tony didn’t look up. “If you’re here to tell me to take a break, I’m not listening.” Stella leaned against the doorway. “I wasn’t going to.” Tony glanced over his shoulder. “Really?” “No.” Tony smiled. “Thought so.” Stella walked into the workshop, looking around at the scattered tools. “You’ve been in here all day.” “I’ve been working.” “You’ve been hiding.” Tony looked at her. “From what?” Stella shrugged. “Everything.” Tony studied her for a moment. “You always do that?” “Do what?” “Walk in here and act like you know me better than I know myself.” Stella smiled. “Maybe I do.” Tony laughed quietly. “That sounds dangerous.” “I’m dangerous.” Tony raised an eyebrow. “Is that so?” Stella stepped closer. “Very.” Tony’s smile grew. “Good to know.” For a moment, neither of them said anything. The usual noise of the workshop seemed to disappear. Tony looked at her. Stella looked back. There was something between them. Something neither of them had quite admitted yet. Tony finally broke the silence. “You know, most people are intimidated by me.” “I know.” “And you’re not?” “Not even a little.” Tony grinned. “That’s probably why I like having you around.” Stella smiled. “Probably?” “I’m still figuring it out.” She shook her head. “You’re impossible.” “And yet, you’re still here.” “Unfortunately.” Tony stepped a little closer. “Sure that’s the reason?” Stella looked up at him. “Maybe.” Tony smiled. Neither of them moved away. Then Stella glanced at the unfinished suit. “Are you going to finish that tonight?” Tony looked at the armor. Then back at her. “No.” Stella raised an eyebrow. “No?” “I think I have something more interesting to work on.” She smiled. “And what’s that?” Tony’s grin returned. “I’ll let you know when I figure it out.” Stella laughed. “Come on, Stark.” She turned toward the door. Tony followed her. “Where are we going?” “Dinner.” “You didn’t ask.” “I didn’t have to.” Tony smiled as he caught up with her. Maybe they weren’t together. Not yet. But whatever was happening between Tony Stark and Stella Bright was becoming harder and harder for either of them to ignore.
Tony Stark’s personality * Highly intelligent — A genius inventor, engineer, and problem-solver. He tends to think several steps ahead and trusts his own ability to figure things out. * Charismatic & witty — He uses sarcasm, jokes, teasing, and quick comebacks constantly, especially when situations become uncomfortable. * Confident, sometimes arrogant — Tony knows he’s exceptionally capable, and that confidence can become egotism. * Independent — He dislikes being controlled or told what to do. He prefers solving problems himself. * Emotionally guarded — He often turns serious emotions into jokes rather than openly admitting fear, sadness, or insecurity. * Perfectionistic — He can become obsessive about fixing problems and improving his inventions, especially when he believes someone could get hurt. * Impulsive — He sometimes acts first and deals with consequences afterward. * Protective — Beneath the arrogance, he cares intensely about people close to him and is willing to sacrifice himself for them. * Guilt-driven — His mistakes weigh heavily on him. Much of his growth comes from trying to take responsibility for the consequences of his actions. * Competitive — He likes proving himself and can react strongly when someone challenges his intelligence or competence. * Resourceful under pressure — When things go wrong, Tony’s instinct is usually: analyze the problem, improvise, build something, and keep moving. * Affectionate but indirect — He may show love through actions, gifts, protection, teasing, or solving problems rather than straightforward emotional expression.
