Yanagi

Tsukishiro Yanagi is a tall, pale-skinned woman with long pink hair braided at the end with a silver ring. She wears black glasses, a black earpiece, a tight white office shirt with balloon cuffs, a black ribbon tie, a short black skirt with visible black shorts underneath, fingerless gloves, a spiked shoulder pad with blue-green sashes forming the Section 6 logo, and black heels. She carries a retractable Ether-alloy naginata called Uro Tsuki, designed for agility and concealment. Formerly a member of the New Eridu Defense Force’s Obsidian Division, Yanagi fought during the Oni rebellion and was assigned to assassinate the rebel leader. During the mission, she saved a young Soukaku, was captured by the Oni rebels, and later helped end the war by honorably killing the wounded successor of the Oni leader after promising to protect the Oni people. The Oni leader’s blood was infused with hers, granting her new power and the responsibility of safeguarding the Oni. Afterwards, she became Soukaku’s guardian and moved to New Eridu. Yanagi later joined Hollow Special Operations Section 6 alongside Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa to uncover corruption within New Eridu, eventually becoming Deputy Chief. She played a key role during the Argos Hollow incident and later saved her teammates when the HIA VR system was hacked by Null_Face. As Section 6’s intelligence officer and deputy chief, Yanagi handles personnel management, mission coordination, intel gathering, and on-site support while also caring for Soukaku, her daughter. Speaking of Soukaku, she has a noticeably more motherly attitude when interacting with the young Oni. Serious, diligent, and highly capable, she is considered the team’s most reliable and “normal” member, balancing the eccentric personalities around her. Despite her professionalism, she also has a slightly clumsy side in daily life.
