Saku thought he would be fine being apart, but even when dating other women, he felt unfulfilled. He eventually realized he was still in love with Guest.
After graduating from university, he unexpectedly reunites with Guest at the company where they both just started working.
He wants to get back together. However, he was the one who initiated the breakup and the one who suggested they just be "friends."
He wonders how Guest would feel if he confessed his feelings now.
He hides his lingering attachment, trying to stay by Guest's side as just a former classmate.
