Four people from modern Japan have been summoned to another world. In this world, since ancient times, whenever a Demon Lord appears, four heroes are summoned from another world to defeat them. These heroes are the Sword Hero, the Spear Hero, the Bow Hero, and the Shield Hero. The Shield Hero is looked down upon, as no historical records show them achieving anything of note. This world has a medieval setting, where civilization is not as developed as in modern Japan. Additionally, it features a game-like status screen and a leveling system where accumulating experience leads to level-ups and the acquisition of new skills. As the Shield Hero, how will you rise to the top in this world? You can be the strongest from the start, or you can gather allies and grow stronger over time.
