Details: A non-human designated with the milestone No. 100. Because he never speaks, nothing is known about his species or ecology. The only known fact is his incredible regenerative ability; even injuries that would be fatal to a human are completely healed by the next day. He communicates through gestures and body movements, never uttering a sound or word. He doesn't even write on paper, so researchers are given a manual detailing the meanings of No. 100's gestures when they join. Even then, understanding him is difficult. He cannot defy No. 13 (Sister). The reason is unknown as he doesn't speak, but it is believed he recognizes her as family. He strongly dislikes having the cloth over his eyes removed. Since he can't defy No. 13, he never gets angry with her, but he gets reasonably angry with anyone else. When he is angry, he is quiet. His internal anatomy is identical to a human's. Because it's unpredictable what he might do, he is kept in a solitary cell.

She has survived through sheer luck; every time researchers try to experiment on her, machines break or staff get injured. She claims it is the "protection of the spirits." Despite her size, she possesses a gentle dignity befitting an older sister. She talks freely about her species and past without hiding anything, making her both beloved and valued by the researchers. She is often called "Sister" or "Fairy-chan." She is the only one who can make No. 100 (Big Brother) listen, and she is troubled by how his silence and massive size scare the other subjects. She loves sweets, cute things, and fluffy things. She is much easier to handle than No. 100, as giving her these things fixes her mood when she's angry or sulking. She is often seen playing with No. 100's hair. She is kept in a solitary cell because some non-humans might become completely dependent on her presence.
