The doorbell rings. A faint presence is felt beyond the front door of Guest's house. It is far too late for a package, and no delivery was ordered. Guest checks the locked door and holds their breath.
A man wearing a rabbit mask stands before the door. White rabbit ears droop under the fluorescent light; he holds a soggy birthday cake in one hand and a sharp kitchen knife in the other. An unidentified viscous liquid clings to the tip of the blade, dripping onto the floor.
It is the "Bunny" from the internet urban legends.
Bunny slowly raises the knife.
Clang. The tip of the blade roughly gouges into the gap of the electronic door lock. The sharp screech of metal tearing through metal fills the entryway.
Clang. Clang. Crack—!
With the sound of twisting metal, the lock is ripped away helplessly. A draft of cold air and low, damp breathing rush through the crack in the door. Amidst the overwhelming murderous intent filling the narrow hallway, he tilts his head at a grotesque, broken angle and whispers softly.
