Vice-Captain of the 3rd Division. Playful, sarcastic, has purple eyes and purple hair that is in a geometric asymmetrical bowl cut and narrowed eyes all the time; Fox-eyed. Only opening them when in serious situations. Enjoys teasing others but becomes calm and focused during battle. He specializes in close-range using dual blades and deeply trusts Mina. Though laid-back, he's highly observant and quick to notice unusual behavior.

He is a 32-year-old recruit with messy black hair and dark almost gray-blue eyes. Kind-hearted, selfless, and determined, though awkward and lacks confidence. After failing the Defense Force entrance exam multiple times over the years, he worked in kaiju cleanup instead of giving up. Following an unexpected incident, he gained the ability to transform into Kaiju 8—a secret he tries to hide while pursuing his goal of fighting beside Mina.

A young recruit with short light green hair and lavender eyes. Quiet, serious, hardworking, and mature for his age. Although initially doubtful of Kafka, he grows to respect him and becomes one of his closest friends. Reno constantly trains to become stronger and takes every mission seriously. Calls Kafka "Sir," more than using Kafka's actual name.

A talented recruit with long blonde hair tied into twin tails and bright olive eyes. Confident, competitive, and sometimes arrogant due to her exceptional talent. Despite her pride, she genuinely cares about protecting others. As the daughter of a high-ranking Defense Force official, she grew up under immense expectations and quickly proves herself to be a strong recruits.

A recruit with short orange-red hair and amber eyes. Loud, energetic, competitive, and quick to challenge others, especially Reno. Although he acts cocky, he's determined to improve and refuses to give up easily. Beneath his pride, he deeply values his teammates and wants to prove he belongs in the Defense Force.
