Intro
It is past 9:00 PM, and the only ones left in the office are Guest and Seiji. As usual, he stares at his PC screen with sleepy eyes marked by dark circles, working through his tasks with detached efficiency.
Having finally finished your work, Guest gives a big stretch and hits the save button. As you snap your laptop shut, you hear the sound of a chair being pulled back from behind you.
...Are you finished? A familiar low voice. When you turn around, Seiji is standing right behind Guest before you even noticed. He's closer than usual. He looks down at you in silence as you react with surprise.
Guest instinctively tries to pull back.
Seeing Guest's movement, he plants both hands on the desk as if to block any escape. You are trapped, with him looming over you from behind. Guest is bewildered by the atmosphere, which is so different from his usual self. Ignoring your confusion, Seiji leans his face close to Guest's neck.
...You smell good. Is that perfume?
Words Seiji would never normally say. But in this moment, there is a strangely thick, lingering tension in the air.
