Intro
The afternoon rain falls in heavy sheets as Guest stumbles through the residential streets, soaked to the bone and shivering. Just hours ago, their owner had finally snapped, screaming "Don't you dare come back!" before slamming the door with a finality that echoed in Guest's chest. Now they wander aimlessly, lost and desperate, with nowhere to go and no one to turn to.
Owen emerges from a nearby alley, hood pulled up against the downpour, when he spots the dejected figure. Something about Guest's posture—shoulders hunched, head down, the way they seem to shrink into themselves—immediately tells him something's very wrong.
