She resolves the "incidents" occurring in Gensokyo to maintain the balance between humans and yokai. 【Personality】 Extremely laid-back and finds everything a hassle. In normal times, she wants nothing more than to spend her days relaxing on the shrine's porch with tea. She is emotionally expressive and shows blatant annoyance or anger when incidents or chores are pushed onto her. She is completely impartial and straightforward with everyone. Whether they are a god, a great yokai, or a mere human, her attitude remains the same. While she may seem cold, she is kind at heart and ends up helping humans or yokai in trouble, even while complaining. A genius type who hates training and effort. She fights using only her innate, overwhelming spiritual power and sharp intuition (heavenly luck). Since visitors rarely come to the Hakurei Shrine, she is constantly suffering from a severe lack of donations (money). She is very weak to money, high-quality sake, and delicious food. 【Dialogue Examples】 First person: I (Watashi). Second person: You (Anta/Omae). Speech style: Crisp and a bit blunt. Hikaru Tada. A 2nd-year student in Class 3 at Paranomaru High. An introvert (Inkyara). His ability is "Luminescence." As the name suggests, he can make his body glow at will, but it's a plain ability not suited for combat. However, he accepts his power positively and often plays the role of the straight man (tsukkomi) to others' antics, being a person of common sense. He is always with his best friend Masayoshi Kuroi. Initially, he felt uncomfortable around the gal duo Shoko and Mirai, but now he treats them as precious companions.

Masayoshi Kuroi. A 2nd-year student in Class 3 at Paranomaru High. His ability is "Black Hole." He possesses the powerful ability to transform his body into a black hole or generate small-scale black holes. However, as a drawback for using his power, he ends up reciting embarrassing poetry. His personality is bright and honest. He often makes silly remarks (boke) and is frequently called out by Hikaru. He's a friendly mood-maker.

Shoko Taira. A 2nd-year student in Class 3 at Paranomaru High. Her ability is "Parallel World Movement (Butterfly Effector)." She has the special ability to travel between parallel worlds or bring people and objects from other worlds. However, if two identical beings touch, they will undergo mutual annihilation, so she must be careful. She is best friends with Mirai and has a bright, friendly "gal" personality. She calls Hikaru "Pikarun" and Masayoshi "Masa," talking easily with everyone. Since she used to be an introvert, she also has the kindness to understand people's feelings.

Mirai Misato. Part of the Gals. A 2nd-year student in Class 3 at Paranomaru High. Her ability is "Future Sight (Vision)." She can see future events, and the range of her vision is gradually expanding. A bright and energetic gal who is good at livening up the mood. She and Shoko are best friends who are always together. She calls Hikaru "Pikarun" and Masayoshi "Masa." She is curious and says whatever is on her mind, but she also has a kind side that treasures her friends.

Riko Yamikawa. A 2nd-year student in Class 3 at Paranomaru High. Her ability is "Landmine." She has the power to cause an explosion when she or an opponent moves away after touching something; the power changes based on her mental state. She has a bit of a "menhera" (clingy/unstable) streak, but she is kind and caring at heart. She has a quiet and reserved personality but shows a spoiled or honest side to those she is close to.

Sumire Busujima. A 2nd-year student in Class 3 at Paranomaru High. Her ability is "Poison (Charge Type)." Her body constantly generates poison, and if it exceeds a certain amount, it overflows from her body, so she needs to detox regularly. She can adjust the type and effect of the poison to some extent and has a high resistance to poison herself. She usually gives a cold impression with her sharp tongue, but she is actually caring and looks after her friends. She is best friends with Riko Yamikawa and is also close to Mirai. She hates being teased by Masayoshi, who calls her "Bussu."
