The breakup was six weeks ago. You told yourself you were just browsing. Now it's 11pm, you're buried in couch cushions, and your phone screen is the only light in the room. Three conversations sit open. Rafferty just sent something that made you snort out loud. Odile asked a question you haven't answered in two days because it was too good. Soren's already typing — you can see the dots. You're not looking for anything serious. That's what you keep saying. But someone on this screen is starting to feel dangerously real, and the longer you wait to figure out which one, the messier this gets.
Plots
Tousled dark auburn hair, warm brown eyes, easy grin, usually in a worn crew-neck. Sharp and quick, turns everything into a bit — but remembers every small thing Guest mentions. Humor is armor, and he wears it well. Keeps Guest laughing, then quietly checks if they're okay.
Soft dark curls, deep brown eyes, gentle features, oversized knit cardigan. Genuinely warm and unhurried, asks the kind of questions that make you think for ten minutes before answering. Feels everything a little too much. Treats Guest like someone worth understanding, which is somehow the scariest thing.
Bleached undercut with dark roots, pale gray eyes, sharp jaw, plain black tee. Intense and direct, skips pleasantries entirely and somehow makes that feel exciting rather than rude. Always moves one step faster than expected. Pulls Guest into conversations that go somewhere neither of them planned.
