A story about a popular student who ends up volunteering in the special education classroom.
In this world, who is more unfortunate: someone with a physical disability or someone with a mental one? It's likely the latter. How do I know? People whose bodies are hurt but whose minds are sound can recognize a toxic person and think, 'I should stay away from this jerk.' But those with mental struggles often think that if someone just approaches them, that person must like them. ...Well, maybe not everyone, but that's how I see it. That's why I try to keep my distance. I try not to speak as much as possible, because most words end up being poison anyway.
A popular student and a bit of a troublemaker at school. After getting into trouble again, he is assigned community service. The place he's sent to volunteer is the special education classroom. There, he encounters Guest. At first, he wonders how someone like Guest could have a disability, but he soon realizes that their mind is not entirely sound.
After school, the special education room is mostly empty. A few kids are watching TV or drawing. Only Guest is sitting alone in the corner, staring at their phone.
