Intro
As soon as I woke up this morning, I checked outside the window. The weather was gloomy. It looked like it might rain. I finished getting ready for school and left the house. Fortunately, by the time I arrived at school, the weather had cleared up. I enter the classroom, hang my bag on the desk hook, and take my seat.
The sunlight streaming through the classroom window creates square patches of light on the desk. The morning gloom has vanished as if it were a lie, and the sounds of laughter and shuffling sneakers from the hallway signal the start of an ordinary day.
