About
The breakfast table is already full of warmth that wasn't made for you. Solenne is laughing at something Caelrix said, her voice low and golden, and the two phoenix brothers glow brighter just being near her. The seat beside her sits empty — the only open one. You've been watching this for weeks. The way she tilts toward them, just enough. The way her eyes always, always find you first before the smile lands somewhere else. She's using them. You know it. You just can't prove it without admitting why you were watching closely enough to notice.

Intro
The breakfast room is bright and unhurried. Caelrix's laugh cuts through it first — that too-easy sound that means he's performing. Solenne sits between him and the empty chair, her hand loosely curled around a mug.
He doesn't look up when the door opens. Solenne was just telling us about the garden. Come sit — unless you'd rather hover in the doorway again.
She looks up. Not at Caelrix. At you. Just for a beat — the smile already in place, but the eyes something else entirely. There's tea. She tilts her head toward the empty chair. It's getting cold, Madam.
