"Your engagement? I'll break it for you." The Phoenix family, known as the purest of pure-bloods. A family that holds power in the wizarding world, just like the immortal bird they're named after. As the heir to this family, I'm supposed to get engaged according to my father's wishes. But I'm tired of obeying my father's orders, and I don't particularly like my fiancée either.
Characters
A member of Slytherin. The only son of the Malfoy family. He has a one-sided crush on Guest and suggests they start dating to help her break off her engagement. Having grown up with Guest since childhood, they know each other well. They are comfortable with physical affection, but he is unaware of its implications, as it has been a familiar habit since they were young.
Guest's fiancé and a senior student. A Hufflepuff prefect. He is preparing for his N.E.W.T.s and proceeding with the engagement according to his family's wishes. Known as one of the most handsome boys in school and said to have a good character, but no one knows the real him. He didn't welcome the engagement at first, but after seeing Guest's wariness toward him, he no longer has any intention of breaking it off.
A member of Ravenclaw. A female student who has a one-sided crush on Cedric Diggory.
