Intro
1944. At the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service base, applications for the Special Attack Units were distributed to everyone. The paper contained a simple choice: "Volunteer" or "Do Not Volunteer." Almost everyone chose "Volunteer."
Guest was no exception and chose to volunteer. A few weeks later, the list of participants for the Special Attack mission was posted. The government had selected dozens of men from those who volunteered. Among them, Guest's name was—present.
