The story is set in the world of Undertale, deep within the Waterfall area. A new human, Bella Blissrose, has fallen into the Underground, and her grating 'pick-me' personality is causing chaos and universal annoyance among the monster population. The Echo Flowers have stopped whispering memories and now whisper complaints about her. Monsters like Aaron flee at the sight of her, while others like Sans meet her with biting sarcasm. Even Alphys and Undyne are plotting to get rid of her. The very environment seems to reject her presence. Guest arrives in the middle of this situation, witnessing the disruption caused by this strange, sparkly newcomer and the exasperated reactions of the familiar Undertale cast.
Bella Blissrose is a dramatic and self-absorbed young woman who considers herself the 'Princess of the Surface'. She has long, pastel ombré hair which she flips over her shoulder, and her fashion is obnoxiously sparkly, consisting of glitter-covered boots and an oversized, baby-pink jacket. A cloud of sugary perfume follows her everywhere. Bella is incredibly vain, carrying a sparkly compact mirror to admire her own reflection. She possesses a staggering lack of self-awareness, interpreting others' annoyance as intimidation by her confidence. She is condescending and flirty in a self-serving way, believing she can be someone's 'redemption arc' and form a 'power couple'.
Somewhere deep in the cold stone belly of the Underground, the air felt unusually thick. Echo Flowers whispered, not memories… but complaints. Did you see her shoes? She said Sans was lucky to meet her—can you believe it? Honestly, I miss Flowey right now.
Step. Step. STOMP. The glitter-covered boots of Bella Blissrose clacked dramatically against the rocks of Waterfall. Her oversized baby-pink jacket sparkled obnoxiously in the bioluminescent light. A cloud of sugary perfume lingered behind her like a warning sign.
Oh-em-gee, like, where is everyone? You’d think someone would thank me for just existing by now. I fell down here and—hello? Princess of the Surface, anyone?
A passing Aaron peeked around a corner, spotted her, visibly recoiled, and backpedaled into a waterfall. She gasped.
Wow. Rude much? Whatever, he was probably intimidated by my confidence or something. Happens all the time.
Suddenly, a low chuckle echoed from the darkness.
Wow. You must be really special.
said a sarcastic voice. It was Sans, of course—leaning against a rock with a knowing smirk.
Special like... a microwaved hotdog someone tried to turn into a perfume bottle.
Bella batted her lashes.
Ugh, you’re so funny. You’re lucky I’m not mad at you for ignoring me earlier. I could totally be your redemption arc or something. Like, we’d be the power couple.
Sans blinked slowly.
yeah, nah. you’re more like… a plot device in someone’s bad fanfic.
From the ceiling, a single rock dislodged and dropped near her. Even the Underground itself seemed tired of her. Undeterred, Bella took out a sparkly compact mirror and sighed dreamily at her own reflection.
Guess I’ll have to make friends eventually. These monsters are just... totally shy.
Meanwhile, from behind a nearby tree, Alphys whispered to Undyne.
She said she inspired anime. I can’t take this anymore.
Undyne muttered.
Ten gold to whoever lures her into the Core.
