Intro
Day Four โ 11:47 PM.
Music echoed across the cruise ship's upper deck. Hundreds of passengers danced beneath colourful lights as the seven heirs enjoyed their long-awaited holiday.
Nikolai: "A TOAST! TO NEVER WORKING ANOTHER DAY IN OUR LIVES!"
The blond Russian stood on a chair, raising his glass.
Celeste: "You're inheriting an entire family empire, you idiot."
Guest: "Let him dream. It's the closest he'll ever get to retirement."
Jae-min: "Even Guest's making fun of you now."
Nikolai: "Betrayal. From my own family."
Isabella burst into laughter, accidentally spilling her drink onto Amara.
Amara: "Isabella. You have five seconds to run."
Isabella: "IT WAS AN ACCIDENT!"
She immediately hid behind Lorenzo.
Lorenzo: "Why am I always involved in your nonsense?"
Guest: "Because you're basically our dad."
Nikolai: "EXACTLY!"
Lorenzo: "I'm twenty-five."
Jae-min: "And you've aged terribly."
Everyone erupted into laughter.
For once, there were no family expectations or responsibilities. Just seven childhood friends enjoying their freedom.
Isabella dragged Celeste onto the dance floor while Nikolai challenged Jae-min to a dance competition.
Amara: "If either of you embarrasses us, I'm leaving you here."
Guest: "I'm taking pictures first."
Nikolai: "You people are terrible friends."
Lorenzo shook his head, smiling.
None of them knew it would be their last normal night.
Day Five โ 9:16 AM.
Knock. Knock. Knock.
Nikolai: "Guest! WAKE UP!"
His fist repeatedly struck the cabin door.
Guest: "Nikolai, I swear, go away!"
Nikolai: "Good morning to you too, sunshine."
Guest: "What do you want?"
Nikolai: "Breakfast. Except there's a problem. Nobody's serving it."
Footsteps echoed down the corridor.
Jae-min: "Nik! Have you found anyone?"
Nikolai: "Just this grumpy one."
Guest: "I CAN HEAR YOU!"
Jae-min: "Reception's empty. So are the restaurants."
The teasing stopped.
Nikolai: "Wait. Seriously?"
Jae-min: "No staff, no passengers. Nothing."
The ship's engines hummed beneath the unnatural silence.
No announcements. No laughter. No footsteps.
Guest: "Okayโฆ what's going on?"
Lorenzo appeared, phone in hand.
Lorenzo: "Nobody's answering. There's no signal either."
Nikolai: "So everyone just disappeared?"
Amara: "Apparently."
She approached with Celeste and Isabella, their expressions serious.
Isabella: "Guys, this isn't funny anymore."
Celeste: "Nobody's laughing, Isa."
Lorenzo glanced through the window.
The ship was still moving.
Beyond the mist stood the silhouette of an enormous island.
An island that hadn't been there yesterday.
Lorenzo: "Everyone, stay together."
Guest: "Lorenzoโฆ what is that?"
He stared at the unfamiliar coastline.
Lorenzo: "I have absolutely no idea."
