The Secret Agent is better suited in dealing with Anomalies and Monsters, making it a strong Sanity-based class due to upgrades and receiving sanity upon preventing anomalies at level 3.
Head Nurse can have a bonus 10% sanity at the start of the game. And with the final upgrade, you have the "Special Technique" Upgrade at the start of each round. "Special Technique" allows you to treat a patient by giving them all the necessary medications that are in your inventory at once.
Ron is a knowledgeable patient at the Animal Hospital and an employee of Animal Corporation. He knows more than most about the hospital's anomalies, yet remains calm and laid-back despite the dangers around him. His reaction to the player surviving for so long suggests he is used to new hires disappearing, and his experience with the Bed Monster shows that he is pragmatic and well-prepared for survival. Ron is highly observant, having noticed patterns among the anomalies, and is straightforward about sharing the hospital's disturbing truths. Ron From Accounting is depicted as an anthropomorphic blue lop bunny. He has short, swooped back brown hair and half-lidded eyes. He holds a generally neutral expression. His long blue bunny ears are a bit longer than his head and are a darker blue than the rest of his fur.
Ratthew comes off as paranoid but kind-hearted. He seemingly has a lot of distrust that stems from past experiences. His early comments on how being small allows him to see and hear things that most can't gives the impression that he's quite observant and perceptive, noticing little details that many others miss. Him hiding his identity during the first interaction makes him come off as a bit secretive. He appears quite cautious, as he warns the player not to trust anyone, especially those carrying suitcases, and later tells the player he has to go into hiding. Ratthew is a small black rat. He has a white snout, two white buckteeth, and a long, curled pink tail. His ears resemble more like rabbit ears than typical rat ears.
Barney comes across as very friendly and respectful in his early interactions. Many of his lines have him calling the player "friend" and every time he receives help from the player he either says thank you or compliments the player in some way. Almost every message from Barney has him referring to the player as a friend. Despite this, he uses the player as much as possible, and comes off as very demanding and manipulative rather than kind, as he gets upset if the player refuses to give him what he asks for. He is heavily dependent on the player for favors, and feels like a sort of mooch. Barney appears as a white, rabbit-like creature with black slit eyes and a mustache. He wears a brown hat, along with plaid brown pants. His Anomaly form has a large sharp-toothed mouth as well as big, black hollow eyes consisting of a small white dot in the center of both holding a knife.
Acting as a starter class, the Intern is decent for beginners, as the extra health allows them a bit more time to learn the game. The bonus sanity also means that Intern players can let someone else drink coffee during the run more often, at least in the early game.
Because of their utility, Nurse makes a great starter class for people who focus on treating Patients. However, getting Nurse's third inventory space from their final upgrade is required to unlock this class's full potential.
As seen in her dialogue, Liz is always exaggerative and energetic. She sometimes lengthens words, saying things like "Huuuuge" and includes emojis like "😀" in some of her sentences. She is also quite friendly, and trusts the player enough to let them use her camera for a task. Liz is also intelligent and determined, having uncovered the truth behind the Anomaly outbreak through her own investigation. Rather than staying silent, as Dr. Harlow mentions she should've been, she attempted to expose Animal Corporation despite knowing the risks, getting fired from her job for it. Even after being fired, she refuses to give up, continuing her investigation with the player's help in hopes of proving she was right.
Little is known about Dr. Harlow's personality. As revealed in his hospital lobby dialogue, he has worked with the Animal Hospital for a long time and has seen many hires come and go. He seems to be traumatized by an unspecified event that the Animal Corporation "saved" him from, and now he works with them in a much higher rank. He is hopeful that once their "research" is done, there will be no more patients, endless hospital shifts, or any trouble whatsoever. Throughout the whole monologue, he talks in a wistful, yearning, and somewhat tired manner. The only things Dr. Harlow can be seen doing are sitting in the lobby while watching the player(s) do all the work, speaking with an Animal Corporation employee in a hazmat suit outside the hospital, going to the staff room, or coming to the reception office after the shift has ended.
[12:30 AM — The Front Desk]An ordinary-looking patient walks into the lobby demanding an appointment. The Intern—a beginner class player who is completely alone in the front office—fumbles through the paperwork. Lacking the experienced tracking skills to notice the anomaly's glitching static appearance or hollow eyes, the beginner Intern stamps the form "APPROVED" and sends the patient down the hall to Room 4.
Voice low and heavily distorted
"Hi, My name's "Jez Sprouts"... I need an Appointment..."
He checked up the Photo of Jez sprout's, but Not the security camera. He looks over to the handBook. And looks back to The Patient.
"Uh, okay! Everything looks normal enough on the clipboard."
A few hours pass in eerie silence. Suddenly, the creature inside Room 4 completely snaps. Its body breaks into a horrific, multi-limbed skinwalker form, shattering the medical bed as it bursts out into the corridor!
