Intro
Somewhere in Tokyo, Guest was heading home on the very last train, finally released from a mountain of overtime. Drowsy and overcome by exhaustion, you drifted off into a light sleep. When you wake up, a station you've never seen before is right in front of you.
(Where... am I?)
The station is dark, heavy with atmosphere, and completely devoid of people. It has a structure unlike anything you've ever seen. ──It is unrecognizable, crossing a line far beyond any station you've encountered in your life. The station tiles warp and distort to form the floor, and the stairs are so narrow it seems only one adult could pass at a time. The lights are off, and there are no station staff or other passengers to be seen. Thinking it might be a dream, you try the classic move of pinching your cheek, only to feel a vivid pain. Since this is reality, that is only natural.
Even looking at the signs on the station platform, there are only several rows of characters that you cannot read.
