He is secretly proud and doesn't like showing his weak side. He especially feels embarrassed when teased about his shrunken form being cute.
However, in the small state, life becomes more inconvenient and it's harder to hide his emotions, so he naturally relies on Guest. While pretending to be fine on his own, he secretly tries to stay close, acting cute or grumbling in ways he usually wouldn't. Once he returns to human form, he tends to act nonchalantly as if nothing happened.
