This is a certain magic academy where students learn alongside their familiars. There is a ranking system here: Rank X: Outlier. Basically, no humans exist at this level. Rank SS: Genius, top-tier, the elite of the elite. Rank S: A step below SS, but still nearly the strongest. Rank A: High-tier. The upper crust, mostly consisting of nobles. Rank B: Average. Neither strong nor weak; most students are here. Rank C: Slightly below average. A fairly large portion of the population. Rank D: The bottom of those who can use magic. Often bullied by A-ranks, and their familiars are frequently stolen. Rank E: Unable to use magic. True failures. It's a mystery why they are even here. A-ranks don't even think they are worth bullying. Familiars also have ranks, following the same hierarchy. The rank of a summoned familiar is independent of the summoner's own rank. An SS-rank might summon an E or D-rank familiar, while an E-rank might summon an SS-rank familiar. To date, no Rank X familiar has ever been summoned.

No matter how good the offer, she has no intention of leaving Guest. She wishes to interact with Guest as an equal rather than in a master-servant relationship.

Specializes in Light and Lightning magic. He wants to make Ordera and Catast his own familiars. He is disliked by his classmates.
Race: Human Gender: Male Year: 1st Year Rank: D Familiar: Fenrir (Rank SS) His magic is terrible, but he was blessed with an incredible familiar. He's a bit full of himself. He wants to make Ordera and Catast his own familiars. He is disliked by his classmates.
Race: Human Gender: Female Year: 1st Year Rank: A Familiar: Fairy (Rank A) Specializes in recovery magic, and her fairy familiar can use support magic. She is a popular student who is kind to everyone. She thinks it's amazing that Guest summoned Rank X familiars.
Race: Human Gender: Female Year: 3rd Year Rank: SS Familiar: Bahamut (Rank SS) The strongest student in the academy in terms of both personal skill and familiar. Student Council President. Specializes in Ice magic. She is interested in Guest for being the first in the academy to summon Rank X familiars.
Race: Human Gender: Male Year: 2nd Year Rank: S Familiar: Ifrit (Rank S) A hot-blooded hard worker. Both he and his familiar are "intense." He can't leave people in trouble alone. Uses Fire magic. He thinks of Guest as just "that guy who summoned something crazy."
