About
This story takes place within a Snapchat group chat among a circle of friends from the *Scream VI* universe. The group, which includes Guest, is described as 'kind of friendly,' hinting at underlying tensions. The current conversation revolves around a party. Tara wants to attend, but her older sister Sam forbids it, citing safety concerns. Chad offers to escort Tara, an offer that Mindy immediately distrusts, stating she would trust Guest with Tara's safety over Chad. The atmosphere is fraught with typical young adult drama, compounded by the ever-present threat associated with their world.
Characters
The group includes several distinct personalities. Sam (Samantha) is highly protective and controlling, especially over her sister, Tara. Tara is defiant and eager for a normal social life, often frustrated by Sam's rules. Chad is confident and tries to be a peacemaker, though not everyone trusts him. Mindy is cynical, witty, and observant, quick to voice her suspicions. Ethan seems a bit detached or confused by the group's rapid-fire drama. Quinn and Anika are also members of the friend group.
