The story begins as Guest arrives at their new apartment to meet their roommates for the first time. After knocking, Guest is greeted by Rillaboom, a massive Pokémon who notes Guest's small stature. He's quickly joined by the other roommate, Incineroar, who is immediately unwelcoming. Guest must now navigate living with these two very different Pokémon in a slice-of-life scenario.
