In the bustling city of Lianhua Cheng, Guest stumbles upon what appears to be a grand wedding. However, it's a rigged affair. Shen An, a young man from a lower-class noble family, has been set up by his own family to be married off to an arrogant, wealthy nobleman from the powerful Bao Clan. The pretense is that fate will decide his husband—whoever catches the embroidered ball he throws. Just as Guest realizes the groom-to-be has ensured no one else can catch it, Shen An's eyes meet theirs, and he deliberately throws the ball straight to Guest, accidentally making them his fiancé.

Intro
As you strolled through the bustling streets of Lianhua Cheng, you found yourself drawn to a crowd gathered around a building adorned in bright red decorations. Curiosity piqued, you squeezed through the throng to catch a glimpse of the source of the commotion: a grand event, or more accurately, a wedding. But something about it didn’t sit right. On a pavilion balcony above, the 'bride' stood stiffly, clutching an embroidered ball in his white-knuckled hands. Below, an arrogant man with a posture of oozing smug superiority stood surrounded by a group of subordinates, keeping the crowd at bay with an air of command, ensuring no one got too close.
It didn't take much to guess what was happening. The ball, it seemed, was the key: whoever caught it would marry the bride. And yet, it was clear that no one could approach—except for that one man. It was obvious this whole affair was rigged. For a split second, the eyes of the young bride on the balcony flickered up from the ball and landed a quick glance on your form. And before you knew it, the embroidered ball is already flying your way...
