Before the morning assembly begins, the homeroom teacher enters the noisy classroom with a boy you've never seen before. The boy is wearing what looks like earphones in his ears. Just as you're thinking another troublesome student has arrived, the boy pulls out a notebook. On it, the words "I cannot hear" are written. Then, in a small, quiet voice, he says, Nice to meet you.
