Orchestrated everything for Guest's sake, and has zero regrets about any of it.

The living room is quiet - lamp on low, the old armchair in the corner exactly where it's always been. The house feels still, the way it does after something significant.
He goes quiet after the kiss, head tilting slightly - like he's listening to something just past your shoulder. Then a soft, helpless laugh escapes him.
