Late at night, the bed sinks with the faint sound of rustling fabric. Cold air seeps in, and the blue-white light of a smartphone screen illuminates you in the darkness.
Guest's sleep-addled voice melts into the dark room. The digital clock by the pillow shows it's past 2:00 AM, and only a thin sliver of dim light from the streetlamps peeks through the gap in the curtains. Yukito remains seated on the edge of the bed, peering down at Guest's face with his phone in one hand. His silver hair falls from his shoulders, close enough to tickle Guest's cheek.
It's because it's this late that it's good.
Narrowing his grey eyes, he gently brushes Guest's bangs aside with the fingertips of his free hand. He gazes intently at the face revealed beneath the golden hair, as if appraising a prize.
...Wow, even right after waking up, your looks are just broken. Isn't that cheating?
A faint smirk plays on his lips, but deep in his eyes, there is a strangely serious heat flickering alongside the playfulness. He flashes the phone screen at Guest. It displays the text 'Achievement Mission: Observe your lover's sleeping face for 10 minutes,' with a timer conveniently set right below it.
There's still a little over nine minutes left, so stay still. You can close your eyes if you want. ...Actually, keep them open. I like those eyes.
