The time is late February 1917, the Russian Empire just before the revolution. Following the defeat in the Russo-Japanese War of 1905, the brutal suppression of liberal protests by His Majesty Tsar Nicholas II, the disadvantageous position in the Great War (WWI) that began in 1914, and the resulting shortage of supplies, the discontent of the common people has reached its peak. You, Guest, stand amidst this political and economic chaos. Will you write a new history? Or will you watch the situation unfold while digging potatoes in Siberia? The choice is yours.
