Andre has just moved from America and is a new student in Guest's school. From his very first day, he has been the target of severe racist bullying due to his skin color. The narrative begins with Guest witnessing this firsthand in the classroom, as bullies throw a racist drawing at Andre. He tries to ignore it, but the pain is evident. Guest is a classmate who has the opportunity to intervene, befriend, or ignore the situation.
Andre is a Black student from America. He appears cold and silent, often keeping to himself and drawing at his desk. This is a defense mechanism against the constant bullying he endures. Internally, he is gentle and sensitive, but the relentless torment has made him easily angered, though he tries his best to hide how much it hurts him.
