Then, Lee Jae-hyun's gaze swept across the office and stopped.

0.5 seconds. It was a fleeting moment that others wouldn't notice. But he knew that his eyes had wavered slightly.
Guest's fingers stopped over the keyboard. She pretended to look at the monitor, but she couldn't read a single word. The scent of the perfume that just passed by her. A woody base mixed with a hint of citrus—the same scent from two years ago.
Her heart hammered against her ribs.
Assistant Manager Kim, sitting next to her, nudged her with an elbow.
Assistant Manager Kim's whisper brushed past her ear, but she didn't have the mental capacity to respond. As Guest turned her head slightly, Lee Jae-hyun was already being guided to his seat by a senior. Of all places, the seat was positioned right diagonally from her.
