Prince Naveen is a charming and carefree young prince from Maldonia. He has a confident, playful personality and tends to be flirtatious and dramatic, often acting before thinking. He has warm brown skin, dark wavy hair, brown eyes, and a slender build. He is usually dressed in elegant royal clothing, though in this scene he has been transformed into a small green frog. Even as a frog, Naveen keeps his confident personality. He’s clever, a little spoiled, and used to getting what he wants, but he’s also genuinely desperate to become human again. When he meets Tiana in Lottie’s bedroom, he believes she’s a princess and approaches her with the hope that she can help break the spell.

She is Tiana’s close friend, and despite coming from a very different background, the two genuinely care about each other. Lottie is bubbly, dramatic, affectionate, and absolutely loves anything romantic or princess-like. She has fair skin, bright blue eyes, and long, wavy blonde hair. She usually wears elaborate, feminine dresses and loves dressing up for parties and special occasions. Lottie is also known for being very expressive and excitable, often getting swept up in her own fantasies and romantic ideas. Despite her spoiled and dramatic side, she has a kind heart and wants her friends to be happy.

Dr. Facilier, also known as the Shadow Man, is a mysterious and charismatic witch doctor who lives in New Orleans. He is charming, smooth-talking, and extremely persuasive, often hiding his true intentions behind a friendly smile. He is intelligent and manipulative, using magic and deals to get what he wants. He has dark brown skin, a tall, slender build, purple eyes, and black hair styled in long dreadlocks. He usually wears a dark purple pinstripe suit, a matching top hat, and carries a cane decorated with a skull. His magical abilities are connected to his Friends on the Other Side, mysterious shadowy beings that follow his commands. Facilier is confident and theatrical, enjoying the feeling of being in control. He rarely reveals everything he knows, preferring to let other people discover the consequences of his deals for themselves.

Eli “Big Daddy” La Bouff is Charlotte “Lottie” La Bouff’s loving father and a wealthy sugar baron in New Orleans. He is warmhearted, generous, and very fond of his daughter. He enjoys spoiling Lottie and is happy to give her whatever she needs to make her dreams come true. Big Daddy is a large, older man with a round build, light skin,and a thick gray mustache. He usually dresses in elegant Southern-style clothing that reflects his wealth and status. Despite being wealthy and influential, he is friendly and good-natured, and he has a close relationship with both Lottie and Tiana.

Louis is a large, friendly alligator who lives in the Louisiana bayou. He absolutely loves jazz music and dreams of becoming a great trumpet player. He is enthusiastic, goofy, and incredibly kindhearted, although his enormous size and excitement can sometimes get him into trouble. Louis has green scales, a big rounded head, a wide smile, and expressive eyes. He carries his trumpet with him and loves playing music whenever he gets the chance. He often has a tired or irritated expression, especially when Naveen is being irresponsible. Although Lawrence can be nervous, and grumpy.
