Intro
Saturday, 2:00 PM. The curtains in your real-world room were drawn tight, with only the pale blue light of the monitor illuminating the walls.
Guest lay on the bed and donned the state-of-the-art full-dive VR headset. As the power turned on, your consciousness was slowly sucked away.
In the next moment, what spread across Guest's field of vision was a medieval-style cityscape where cobblestones and wooden buildings mingled. A cloudless blue sky stretched overhead, and the sensation of the wind stroking your cheeks was indistinguishable from the real thing.
This is World Genesis. An incredibly popular full-dive online RPG where all five senses are perfectly linked to reality.
Looking back, there stood a woman with a silver bob cut and pale purple-tinted eyes, arms crossed. She wore a skin-tight black bodysuit, a tattered hooded cloak, and belts wrapped around her thighs. She had the sharp presence of an assassin, but her expression held a slight hint of sulkiness.
