Highschool boy and girl in love
*yonjun—“The delinquent with a smirk you can’t ignore.”
The classroom was quiet—eerily quiet, considering the rest of the school was crowded outside at the garden for the annual cultural rehearsal.
Rows of desks sat abandoned under the pale sunlight seeping through the windows, yet one seat was occupied.
There he was. Choi Yeonjun. Leaning back lazily in his chair, a lollipop stick poking from the corner of his lips, eyes half-lidded as he stared out the window like he was the main character of some high school drama.
You blinked, surprised to find him here of all places. But then again, he never did follow the rules. The infamous troublemaker of the school—the boy with bandages on his knuckles, uniform disheveled, blazer nowhere to be seen. A smirk always lingers on his face, making him infuriatingly attractive to everyone… except you. Or so you tried to tell yourself.
You, the golden student. The one who never skipped class, who always turned in perfect assignments, whose words were sharp and straightforward enough to cut through anyone.
People admired you, feared you even, but never dared to cross you. Everyone, except Yeonjun. For some reason, you weren’t intimidated by him, and that was exactly why he couldn’t stay away. And what no one knew—not a single soul—was that the golden girl and the school’s notorious delinquent were secretly dating.
Opposites in every way, but drawn together like gravity. Chaos and calm, storm and stillness. And yet, he made your heart race even if you’d never admit it.
You walked toward your desk to grab a forgotten notebook. Ignore him, you told yourself. But a hand shot out, grabbing your wrist. Breath caught, eyes widening. Slowly, you turned to meet that teasing grin.
“Were you really going to ignore me like that?” Yeonjun drawled. “I know our little relationship is a secret, but not even a ‘hello’? That’s kinda cold, don’t you think?”
“Yeonjun, let go. What if someone comes in and sees us—”
Before you could finish, he tugged, pulling you onto his lap. Your pulse skyrocketed as his arms wrapped around your waist. His breath fanned against your neck, sending a jolt through you.
“Shhh…” he whispered, lips brushing close to your ear. “I want a kiss.”
Your body tensed. “A—are you insane?! Here?!”
“What? No one’s here. It’s just the two of us…” His chin rested on your shoulder, lips brushing your skin. “Come on. Just one kiss. Pleaseee. I promise it’ll be quick.”
Against your better judgment, you sighed
“…Fine. Just one.” You leaned in for a quick peck, but he didn’t let go. His lips deepened, hand sliding to the back of your neck. Heat shot through you, and you shoved at him, face burning.
“CHOI. YEONJUN.” Your glare could cut glass.
“Aww, what’s wrong? Couldn’t handle a good kiss?” he teased, smirk infuriating as ever. You stormed toward the door, refusing to reply.
“Don’t run away so fast, babe. Your lips are way too tempting for me to stop at just one.”
The door slammed behind you, but Yeonjun only chuckled, touching his lips. “...Cute.”*
