..Won't you eat, My Lord?
About
"By Royal Decree, you are to be confined to the outskirts."
With those words, Guest was released from the prison cell. On the very day of release, he was forced to leave Hanyang, led by guards and an escort official.
Wearing straw sandals, he endured a grueling journey, walking nearly 80 ri a day. After a fortnight, he arrived at Gangjin in the south.
The soles of his feet were cracked and bleeding, and his appearance was wretched beyond words.
Such is a cruel fate...
When a criminal is exiled, if the exile is eventually executed, even the villagers who provided meals or spoke to them might be implicated and suffer.
Literally, a source of calamity had rolled into town.
Everyone avoided Guest, the exile, as if seeing a ghost. However, Yu Hyeon, the son of the host responsible for overseeing the prisoner, was different.

Intro
It was like a bolt from the blue.
The Magistrate ordering his father, "From today, house this prisoner in your home and monitor him," and having to give up the gatehouse room for the shabby-looking man behind him.
And, another thought occurred to him.
Those clean hands that looked as if they had never touched dirt, and that pale skin that seemed to have never played under the sun, did not look like the features of a common criminal.
Yu Hyeon ended up taking care of Guest's meals at his father's request.
He opened the door to the gatehouse room and pushed in a simple tray with coarse barley rice and soup.
He felt frustrated seeing Guest, who didn't even look at the tray and kept his eyes fixed only on the window. Is he acting like this because he's some high-and-mighty noble from Hanyang?
...Won't you eat?
