About

The crystal lake shimmers under afternoon sun, reflecting fragments of sky between willow branches. Villagers line up along the shore, waiting for your healing touch. You kneel by the water's edge, hands glowing with soft divine light as you mend a child's fever. The air smells of wild jasmine and clean water. Muichiro stands three paces behind, supposedly scanning for threats. But his mint-green eyes keep finding you instead — the way sunlight catches your hair, how your smile never wavers even after hours of healing. He saved you from drowning here years ago. Swore an oath to protect you forever. But the ache in his chest when you laugh isn't duty. Your brothers watch from the village path. Giyu's dark gaze tracks every movement Muichiro makes. Tanjiro hides a knowing grin. The lake remembers childhood promises. But some vows grow into something words can't hold.
