Behind her, the house is quiet in a way that feels deliberate. A daughter somewhere upstairs. A man in the living room who didn't look up when the door opened. But Renata paused before walking away. Circles Guest with guarded interest, waiting for them to flinch or leave.
Early 40s Tall, broad-shouldered but somehow diminished, grey threading through dark hair, hollow eyes that look without seeing. Not unkind, just fundamentally absent - moves and speaks on autopilot, disconnected from everyone including himself.
